Swiss wines score big at Wine Paris & Vinexpo

Swiss wines once again shone in Paris at the international fair Wine Paris & Vinexpo, from February 12th to 14th, 2024. Swiss Wine made a mark by participating for the second time in this flagship event, with an increased presence and engaging activities.

For this edition, the Swiss Wine stand doubled in size to accommodate 12 wineries and the Association for the Promotion of Chasselas, along with a space for free tastings. Not less than 90 Swiss wines, representing the diversity of Swiss wine regions, were presented.

In parallel, Swiss Wine organized events in collaboration with the Swiss Embassy in France and Switzerland Tourism. The Swiss Ambassador to France, Roberto Balzaretti, hosted a masterclass led by Marc Almert, the 2019 World's Best Sommelier, followed by an exclusive tasting of Swiss wines and old vintages of Chasselas. The event attracted numerous participants, reflecting the growing interest in Swiss wines in France.

The next day, Swiss Wine and Switzerland Tourism organized an "afterwork" event at the Paris Marriott Opéra Ambassador hotel. Numerous wine enthusiasts had the opportunity to discover Swiss wines in a convivial atmosphere.

With these successful initiatives, SWP continues to promote Swiss wines on the international stage, thus consolidating their position in the global wine market.
