The now famous London wine club has been given the opportunity to open another venue in Verbier. The club, which is a members-only place, will also have a public restaurant.
The takeover of the “Vie et Montagne” establishment in Verbier (formerly the Rosalp) is an event in itself. In order to mark the club's attachment to Switzerland, its wines and their quality, the club offer a selection of wines from the 57 producers of the Swiss Wines Memory (Mémoire des vins suisses) and from the Gault & Millau best Swiss producers classification. Two anglo Swiss members of the club, Simon Hardy dipWSET and Jean-François Genoud were entrusted with the initial selection.
Initially founded in London by wine lovers, for wine lovers, the Verbier club location will have the largest wine list in the region and a complete selection of la Memoire des vins suisses. Its award-winning sommelier team will guide customers through the 3000+ strong wine list and a by-the-glass list of over 150 lines. Locally sourced ingredients are the focus of the menu at 67 Pall Mall Verbier, which features favourites from London as well as the creations of our chef, Jérôme Henry, formerly the Head Chef of Les Trois Garçons Head Chef of Mosimann’s Private Dining Club in Belgravia and Chef Patron of his own restaurant Le Roi Fou in Edinburgh.
