The results of the world's largest and most influential wine competition have been announced. A record year for the number of wines tasted, find out which Swiss wines won at the 19th Decanter World Wine Awards.
The 19th edition of the Decanter World Wine Awards set a new record. 18'244 wines from 54 countries were tasted during two weeks by a jury panel composed of Master of Wine, Master Sommeliers and wine experts.
Among the 50 Best in Show and the various medals, 164 Platinum medals, 677 Gold medals, 5'900 Silver medals and 8'074 Bronze medals, Swiss wines obtained good results, with notably: 1 Best of Show, 5 Platinum medals, 7 Gold medals, 76 Silver medals and 72 Bronze medals.
