Aligoté - Classic white grape variety, originating from Burgundy.
Amigne - Indigenous white grape variety, speciality of Vétroz (Valais).
Arvine (Petite Arvine) - Indigenous white grape variety, speciality of the canton of Valais.
Blauburgunder - The Pinot Noir’s name in German-speaking regions.
Bondola - Indigenous red grape variety from Ticino, now in decline.
Cabernet Sauvignon - Classic red grape variety, originating from the Bordeaux region.
Calamin - One of two terms of origin Great Vintage granted to some wines from Lavaux (Vaud).
Chardonnay - CClassic white grape variety, originating from Burgundy.
Chasselas - White grape variety, the most widely cultivated vine in Switzerland.
Clevner - The Pinot Noir's name in certain German-speaking regions.
Completer - Indigenous white grape variety, speciality of the Herrschaft area (Graubünden).
Cornalin - Indigenous red grape variety from Valais.
Dézaley - The best-known of the two terms of origin Great Vintage granted to some wines from Lavaux (Vaud).
Diolinoir - New red grape variety perfected by Swiss engineers, by crossbreeding the Red of Diolly and the Pinot Noir, quite widespread in Valais.
Dôle - Red wine well-known in Valais, coming from a blend of Pinot Noir (in majority) and of Gamay (being together at least the 85% of the blend) and other red grape varieties granted in Valais.
Dôle Blanche - White wine issued from the same grape variety as the Dôle.
