Gamaret

A crossbreed created in 1970 at Pully (in the canton of Vaud), the Gamaret is enjoying a growing popularity with producers and consumers alike. It gives intensively coloured and well-structured wines which sometimes have spicy notes and which can very well be kept. The Gamaret is in fact a crossbreed between the Gamay and the Reichensteiner (a white grape variety).
